HP's closed-loop recycling system allows customers to return used Original HP Cartridges through the HP Planet Partners program. This process ensures that almost every part of the cartridge is recycled or reused, helping to keep plastics out of landfills. The recycled materials are then used to create new Original HP Cartridges, contributing to a more sustainable, circular economy.
How does recycling with HP Planet Partners work?
To recycle your HP cartridges, you can order free shipping labels, envelopes, or boxes for an easy pack-and-ship experience. You can also drop off your cartridges at participating locations at no cost. If you have a larger quantity, such as more than 76 toner cartridges or over 1,000 ink cartridges, you can schedule a free pallet pickup.
What happens to non-HP cartridges?
Using non-HP cartridges can lead to significant print quality issues, with 60% of problems reported as streaks and smears. Additionally, 65% of non-HP ink and toner cartridges end up in landfills.
