What sustainability initiatives does HP implement?

Since 2016, over 5.8 billion Original HP Cartridges have been manufactured with recycled content, helping to keep 148,000 metric tons of recycled plastic out of landfills.
How does HP use recycled materials?
HP utilizes recycled materials in its Original HP Cartridges, including the HP EvoCycle Toner Cartridges, which are made from 76% reused and recycled materials. Additionally, HP is the first OEM to use ocean-bound plastics in its ink cartridges, contributing to a smaller carbon footprint and reduced energy use during printing.
What is the HP Planet Partners program?
The HP Planet Partners program allows customers to return used HP cartridges for free. HP sorts, disassembles, and shreds these materials for recycling. This initiative not only promotes responsible resource management but also enables customers to track their sustainability goals through reports, reinforcing the impact of their recycling efforts.
